Elie and Earlsferry
Elie, the iconic and perhaps most exclusive seaside village in Scotland
Elie and the neighbouring Earlsferry benefit from an eclectic mix of shops, restaurants, galleries, cafes, pubs and a spectacular sandy bay with the famous golf links in Elie enjoying a reputation as one of Fifes best courses.

The Fife Coastal Path runs through the village with the popular “chain walk” just a short distance to the west towards Shell Bay. Close by are the pretty white washed fishing villages of Fife’s East Neuk which include Crail, St Monans, Anstruther and Pittenweem, each of which offers an interesting mix of shops and restaurants as well as a good range of local services and facilities. St Andrews, the ancient and historic university town and "Home of Golf” is a short twenty minute drive to the north, with Edinburgh a forty five minute drive to the south.

Complementing Elie’s quaint and unique village appeal, the surrounding rolling countryside and spectacular coastline are simply breathtaking. Home to a variety of wildlife and with a delightful mix of farmland, hills, woodland, rivers and beaches the area offers great scope for the outdoor fanatic.

Walking, cycling, riding, sailing, fishing and shooting are all available close by along with an unrivalled array of highly rated golf courses including Elie itself, Crail, Kingsbarns, Lundin Links and also the numerous fine courses in and around St Andrews, where the Old Course regularly hosts the Open Championship.
